Bringing the Christmas magic to life, you dont want to miss our christmas lights. This year we are raising money for keech hospice care which provides specialist end-of-life care for people of all ages.
🕔 WHAT TIME? (NOT GUARANTEED)
Looking forward to seeing you all from 1st of December 2025. The lights will run every night up untill 25th December 2025, from 5pm - 8pm. You may even see the elf coming to say hello and to have a dance with you in the snow!

Before you see Santa in an exclusive slot for your family, be sure to write your Christmas wish to share with him and we are sure he’ll have a little something for you too.

✨️ Prepare Reindeer Food: In the Magic Stables, Drifter is preparing Rudolph and his friends’ favourite food. Here the children can fill their own bag of special magic food to take home.

✨️ Meet Santa & Mrs Claus: If that’s not enough fun, Mrs Claus will invite you into their cozy sitting room to meet Santa himself for a festive story, a present for each child and individual time with him and the opportunity to take that personal photograph of all the family.

Start your journey with our family-friendly pantomime, Aladdin, in our festive Visitor Centre. Enjoy your performance and then make your way to the Booking Hall to board the steam train. You will be shown to your compartment and visited by Father Christmas, where each child will be given a special golden ticket.

After the train ride, your adventure continues to the museum where you will be magically transported to Santa’s workshop to meet Mrs Claus and the elves, and your child can exchange their golden ticket for a gift of their choice.

When booking BRONZE tickets, you are booking single tickets within a Shared Standard compartment. Please note: you will share your compartment with members of other parties. (Minimum booking is for 1 person, maximum 5)

NB Babies under 12 months are £8.50 and do NOT need a seat but will still receive a present. Seats are not allocated for babies. Pushchairs are not permitted on the train but can be left undercover on the platform. Don’t forget to include babies on your booking who may not have been born yet but will be born in time for our event!

▪️Your pantomime start time will be printed on your tickets, all other times will be on display on the day.
▪️We open at 10am, along with our shop and cafe.
▪️You may arrive before your pantomime time and spend time in our Visitor Centre enjoying the huge Christmas tree, decorations, shop and cafe, and you can stay as long as you like – we close at 6pm.
▪️The Miniature Railway will NOT be open.
▪️Your allocated train ride will be after your pantomime.

🚻 TOILETS
Please note there are no toilets on the trains, but plenty around the site for you to use before your train ride.

Dogs are allowed on site, but at Christmas we do not allow them in the pantomime or on the trains.
