🖼 This month our guest artist is Chris Church, a self-taught artist working primarily in watercolour pencil, specialising in wildlife, animals and nature. His pieces are drawn from photos that he has taken over the years, and brought to life through art.

Visits across the UK with his young family often serve as excellent inspiration for his pieces. He was a finalist for the prestigious David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year in 2019, and displayed the beautiful ‘Curious Red Panda’ piece in the Mall Galleries, London.

🎠 Gumbles Funfair is back with unlimited rides for kids at Nicholas Park in Stevenage this May 2025.

ℹ️ AGE INFORMATION
We usually recommend the age ranges of 1-13, but an adult or sibling, cousin etc may assist young children if they would like to ride but are too small to ride alone. We do have a few dedicated toddler size attractions and are hopefully looking to bring in some more smaller attractions and inflatables specifically for tots.
With good reason, you may assist your child! If they are too young to go alone, scared etc you may assist them.
ALL children attending will need to buy a wristband upon entry, no exceptions. Plan ahead! If you think our attractions are unsuitable for your child, please plan to leave them with a parent, grandparent, friend etc.

From captivating model railways to the clang of a working Blacksmith, from vintage game consoles to historic farm machinery, and from the impressive workings of a Rack Saw to the mighty 28-liter Crossley Gas Engine - there's something for everyone.
Step into the past and experience firsthand activities like lacemaking and pottery or embark on an adventure on our Tractor to Pitstone Windmill.
With the Museum only open to the public nine times a year, our team of approximately 50 dedicated volunteers are on hand to ensure your visit is both educational and enjoyable.
