🏕 Big Camp is back! Join us from 12.00pm on 30 May to 2.00pm on 1 June to camp out overnight beneath Dunstable Downs' famous skies!
Big Camp is the perfect family adventure, offering you the rare opportunity to pitch your tent and camp overnight at the highest point in Bedfordshire. Spend the weekend exploring the Downs in a new light and admiring our vast night-time skies.
In 2025, we are going bigger and better than ever, with two nights of camping now on offer!

Only one dog per pitch permitted, to be kept under close control at all times.

We don’t have any showers, so please bring wipes or flannels. A suggested kit list and welcome pack will be sent out the week before.

It is FREE entry, you can pick your own strawberries at a cost (currently not ready for fruit picking everyday) with other activities for children and the family to enjoy. Set in the beautiful surrounding countryside. A great family fun, memorable day out for all and not far from Bedfordshire! Plus they have a car boot sale on Saturday's.
❓DO I NEED TO BOOK?
No you don't need to book which is the great thing, you can enjoy a last minute fun day out, but I'd recommend checking there facebook page incase of any updates on times and days ect. Here is the link:

We'd like to take the opportunity to thank the team at RAF Station Czechoslovakia for their efforts. We look forward to working with them in the future.

The Arrow Active flying in a slot alongside DH60 Moth G-EBLV in a tribute to Desmond Penrose, Boeing Stearman and the Dornier Do 28.

▪️Adult (spectator): £1
ℹ️ AGE INFORMATION
We usually recommend the age ranges of 1-13, but an adult or sibling, cousin etc may assist young children if they would like to ride but are too small to ride alone. We do have a few dedicated toddler size attractions and are hopefully looking to bring in some more smaller attractions and inflatables specifically for tots.
With good reason, you may assist your child! If they are too young to go alone, scared etc you may assist them.
ALL children attending will need to buy a wristband upon entry, no exceptions. Plan ahead! If you think our attractions are unsuitable for your child, please plan to leave them with a parent, grandparent, friend etc.
ℹ️ INFO FOR THIS EVENT - PAY ON THE DAY
Entry for this event is via wristbands only for children, these must be purchased on the day as you are entering Gumbles Childrens Fun Fair.
Some attractions may have height restrictions.
