It has a series of dedicated displays of genuine and replica props and memorabilia from across all genres of Film & Sci-Fi.

ℹ️ Who runs the National Film & Sci-Fi Museum?
The National Film & Sci-Fi Museum was set up by a trust to become the place to share the knowledge and passion for film and science fiction and preserve the history of some of the nations best loved set pieces. The people who make up the trust have years of experience as collectors, convention organisers and professionals within the film & TV industry.
The museum floor is set in 25,000ft2 which are split into amazing themed areas for the public to enjoy.
You can take as long as you would like looking at the displays but we recommend at least 2 hours to make the most of your visit.

For some special events you may be asked to go through a bag check upon entry. Please take heed of all the instructions issued to you from our staff or security teams.
Yes, like all good attractions we have a gift shop. We have a range of collectable items, genuinely signed goods and toys.
There is no public wi-fi attached to the museum but it has a good network provider signal. Please ensure that any tickets required for entry are downloaded in advance if you do not have a data package.
The area has a range of parking options available immediately outside the venue, various fees apply check signage when you arrive for details.
We have a small range of drinks and confectionery available for sale in the shop.
Your ticket is valid for the full day, so you are welcome to leave and return.
How can I pay for stuff?
The tickets can be paid for in advance through our online shop or on the day using cash or all major payment cards.
Can my child come?
Children under 5 years of age have free entry to the museum and can take part in activities with their parents as long as they have a fully valid ticket. They will still require a ticket to register their attendance.

Yes. We have a changing station available on the ground floor.
🚻 Are there public toilets?
Yes. We have two toilets, one of which is an accessible toilet.
🦹♀️ Can I cosplay?
Yes! We encourage people to visit us in costume.

To ensure that the props on display stay protected and the exhibits remain special for as many people as possible, we ask for no photography or filming throughout the museum, except at dedicated photo areas.

Pop in and judge for yourself. From toys and film posters to beta max and game consoles, there’s something in here for everyone of a certain age (or even those that were a twinkle in their mother’s eye but still think it’s cool stuff).
We even have an actual arcade machine which you can try out. Yes, you heard us right, bring your 50 pences and play a 1980s game with a joystick. No touchscreens here.
So come down to the museum and be transported back to the 1980s, it’s free!

We are open from 2.30pm to 5.00pm on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays and at other times by appointment.

At present entrance is free but we rely upon donations from visitors to keep the museum open and suggest at least £2.50 per adult.
👨👩👧👦 GROUP VISITS
Parties and special visits can be arranged at any mutually convenient time. Groups of any size or age can be accommodated at a time to suit you by prior arrangement. Group visits can include a guided walk around the village. The cost for a combined walk and museum visit is £6.00 per person.
