đē From the first Wednesday in May to the last in September 2025, we open the doors of the Walled Garden, Luton and welcome visitors to our unique Capability Brown designed walled garden and its unique service buildings.
đš WHAT TO EXPECT
Entrance includes a fascinating tour of the walled garden and visitors are encouraged to break their visit with a picnic or a visit to the Woodyard CafÊ. The garden is best enjoyed at a snailâs pace, entrance is for all day! Notice boards and displays are updated throughout the season allowing fascinating insight into the gardenâs rich history.
âŋī¸ ACCESSIBILITY
Every effort has been made to make the garden accessible to as many visitors as possible. With that in mind we have recently finished resurfacing the area around the sundial making it far easier for wheeled access. However, due to the age and rich history of the garden there are some areas that are not accessible by wheelchair. Please inform members of the Walled Garden Project at the entrance and every effort will be made to provide an alternative route, provide commentary on the area, or help with pushing if there are volunteers available. Disabled toilets are available within the conservatory.

Dogs on leads with well-behaved owners are most welcome at the Walled Garden.

The venue recently underwent renovations, including a brand-new sprung floor, lighting upgrades to the car park, and a crystal-clear sound system.

Ceroc is a blend of different dance styles including salsa, jive, ballroom and tango.

Step into the past and experience firsthand activities like lacemaking and pottery or embark on an adventure on our Tractor to Pitstone Windmill.
With the Museum only open to the public nine times a year, our team of approximately 50 dedicated volunteers are on hand to ensure your visit is both educational and enjoyable.
