🎉 Walsworth Festival 2026 - Walsworth Common, Hitchin

First conceived in the 1950s and originally organised by the Walsworth Residents’ Community Association at St Faith’s Church, the Walsworth Festival has become a long-standing local tradition.
Now run by a dedicated team of local volunteers, this popular Hitchin event attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy a fantastic day out and celebrate more than 50 years of Walsworth Festival history.

Whether you’re heading along for the live entertainment, browsing the stalls, tucking into some street food or admiring the cars on display, there’s plenty to enjoy throughout the day for all ages.

There will be parking on the day for £3 and will be manned by volunteer marshals. Please use this car park or walk to the event so we can avoid congestion through cars parking on the road.

We believe that it is our responsibility to re-pay the community for all the support
we’ve enjoyed over 25 years. So we have always made it our responsibility
to help charities with a special offer. We don’t give money but help them to help
themselves by giving them a very special deal on the price of a pitch. We particularly like having the smaller charities with us. For instance every year a husband and wife raise money for a special school to have an outing and any money left over is used towards much-needed equipment.
