Youโll also have the chance to meet some creepy crawlies and learn about the different species that live in and around Waddesdon, as well as using a microscope to see the beauty of nature.

Pumpkins are available outside the Skull Shack from Oct 22, 2025 while supplies last. Grown at the gardens at Eythrope, theyโre perfect for carving or decorating. Suggested donation: 50p for small pumpkins or ยฃ1 for large pumpkins.

๐ท Stand beneath the spider stairwell, draped with cobwebs and clinging creatures, look on at the frightful feast laid out in the dining room, and follow the woodcutter trail along the Long Gallery this spooky season. Those brave enough to venture into the basement will find flickering candlelight casting dancing shadows on the walls.

Venture deep into the Haunted Forest, where things go bump in the night (and day)! As you walk through the eerie woods, discover bewitching creatures, magical scenes, and ghostly surprises. Created from recycled materials by one of our talented Park and Gardens Team, this yearโs forest is spookier than ever before.
๐ New late sessions for 2025: 5pm - 7pm
Are you brave enough to face the Haunted Forest after dark? Put your wellies on and find out in our spookier late sessions. From 5pm until 7pm (last entry 6pm). The Haunted Forest is included with your Hatfield Park ticket and will be open throughout Witches & Wizards Week.

From Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October, enjoy frightening, family-friendly favourites including Goosebumps (2015) on 27th October, The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) on 28th October, Coraline (2009) on 29th October, Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) on 30th October, and ParaNorman (2012) on 31st October.
Each film will be screened at 12pm and 3pm.

Step into the spellbinding world of broomstick-crafting! From Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November Witches and Wizards of all ages are invited to take flight in this hands-on workshop. Step into the Motor House and craft magical creations from wooden sticks and stringโno wand required. Whether youโre a seasoned sorcerer or just starting out, this workshop promises a bewitching blend of creativity and wicked fun.
The workshop runs from 11am โ 4pm.
Each Witches & Wizards Week ticket includes access to one workshop. To attend a second workshop, a separate Workshop Only ticket must be purchased.

From Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November, uncover spine-tingling tales of Henry VIII and the chilling fate of his many wives in this hauntingly fun, family-friendly tour of Queen Elizabeth Iโs childhood home.

There will be an ยฃ8 supplementary charge for Wicked Old Palace Tours, payable at the Ticket Kiosk on the day.

Halloween Haunt is returning to Wicksteed Park for October weekends and half-term with Halloween House creating a hauntingly exciting Chapter 2! There will be two fantastic family friendly spooky walkthroughs to explore with brand new elements that will possess you with Halloween spirit.*

For one night only on 31st October, two special Zombie Trains will depart the railway station at 5.10pm and 5.30pm. As you journey through the meadow and woodland, look out for each lesson along the trail. Can you spot the lesson and work out which class it belongs to?

At every location, write down the spooky lesson on your trail sheet and match to the correct class to help restore order to our school of magic. As you follow the trail, use your 3D classes to reveal a secret hidden letter. The letters will spell out a magic word. Return to the Mill shop and speak the magic word to stop the mischievous witches and ghosts mixing up the lessons again.
