The Five bells‘ Comedy club returns for another LAUGH OUT LOUD evening, guaranteed to make you fall off your seat. A line up of laugh out loud, on the circuit comedians guaranteed!
🎤 HEADLINER: Carl Donnelly
Carl started performing stand-up in 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting comedians. His conversational, silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007 among others) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland.
In 2009, Carl performed his debut solo show Relax Everyone, it’s Carl Donnelly! at the Edinburgh Fringe for which he was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Since then, Carl has returned to Edinburgh with further solo shows and received a nomination in 2013 for the Fosters Comedy Award.
Carl has also appeared on various TV shows, including Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, Dave’s One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week, and Russell Howard’s Good News.

The reigning/pundisputed UK Pun Champion (2020), the first woman to win the title and she is the only person to be named amongst Dave’s Funniest Jokes of the Fringe four years running (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). An accomplished joke writer Adele has also featured in best jokes lists in The Telegraph, The Evening Standard, The Irish Times, The i Newspaper and The Metro as well as being nominated for Leicestershire’s Favourite Joke in 2019, and contributing to the Leicester Comedy Festival’s All Puns Blazing Joke book.
🎤 Adam Riley Adam stands out as a deadpan redhead whose wit cuts through with a uniquely dark sense of humour. His performances grace comedy clubs nationwide, leaving audiences in stitches with his sharp comedic delivery and astute observations.
