We have 2 hour slots throughout the day ranging from 12pm right through to 8pm.
We have 5 sittings through the day - pop to the tickets page to pick your best time.

Ah, the right question! On arrival, you will get a board of sides (dirty fries, slaw, corn and tater tots) as well as a full board of meats that will include our iconic smoked brisket, Korean BBQ flavoured pork belly, Strips of medium rare steak, pulled pork shoulder and Franks hot sauced chicken wings.
🍽 AND HOW DO I KEEP IT COMING?
We will have a waiter service so just grab one of our staff and tell them what you want and we'll bring it right up! As long as you have finished the current portion of the meat you request! We're not being tight..... Just don't want good BBQ to go to waste!
How do I know you won't run out of BBQ?
Well that's the reason we are doing a pre-sale with tickets so we can ensure we are prepared for you. We imagine an angry meat mob is scary!
What happens after the 2 hour slot? Can I stick around?
You won't be kicked out but you may be moved to another area depending on how busy we are for the next session.

🎼 Josef Rheinberger: Mass in E flat
Josef Rheinberger, a much under-rated composer, is today probably best known for his set of 20 organ sonatas. But he also wrote a large number of choral works of which his extraordinary Mass in E flat for unaccompanied double choir is generally considered to be his finest. Its antiphonal opening harks back to the works of Gabrieli and Monteverdi composed for spatially separated choirs, with the gloriously rich eight-part harmonies of later movements showing the influence of composers such as Bach and Mendelssohn. The overall result is a work which showcases Rheinberger’s own inventive powers of composition and has been described as “the most beautiful pure vocal mass of the nineteenth century.”

Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo (b. 1978) created this 30-minute work in four sections:
The Spheres (Kyrie), Sunrise (Gloria), The City (Credo), and Identity & The Ground (Sanctus, Benedictus & Agnus Dei). Gjeilo himself said: “The reason I used English titles, seemingly unrelated to the (mostly) Latin texts, for the movements in this setting of the Mass has mainly to do with the initial idea behind Sunrise Mass. I wanted the musical development of the work to evolve from the most transparent and spacey, to something completely earthy and grounded; from nebulous and pristine to more emotional and dramatic, and eventually warm and solid – as a metaphor for human development from child to adult, or as a spiritual journey.

🌸 Shefford Maze itself measures 30 metres square, and 2 metres high, with a 6 metre square centre. It was designed and planted in the summer of 1983 by the owner, John Brindle. Check before you leave on the Facebook page incase of any last minute closures.
