🤣 Jason Manford: A Manford All Seasons at Bedford Corn Exchange

Time: 19:30

🤩 The superstar standup returns with his brand new show, A Manford All Seasons at Bedford Corn Exchange.

▪️Age: 14+
▪️Doors & bar opens: 19:00
▪️Show starts at: 19:30

😍 ABOUT JASON...
Born in 1981, it took only 17 years for comedian, writer, actor, television and radio presenter Jason Manford to make his mark on the live circuit. Working as a glass collector at the Buzz Comedy Club in Manchester's suburban area of Chorlton, Manford stepped in when a scheduled performer failed to turn up. Just six live gigs later he claimed The City Life North West Comedian Of The Year award, launching a career that would cement him as a household name across the United Kingdom.

Inspired by family-friendly entertainers such as Eric Morecambe, Tommy Cooper and Les Dawson, and citing both Billy Connolly and Peter Kay as catalysts for his love of comedy, Jason Manford secured a nomination for the coveted Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2005 for his debut Urban Legends show. Then described by Chortle as a triumphant performance "unashamedly dedicated to good, uncomplicated fun", he picked up their award for Best Breakthrough Act in 2006.

That same year Jason Manford made the jump from comedy club stages to screen, joining team captain Dave Spikey on Channel 4's 8 Out Of 10 Cats in 2006. Well-received by the show's regulars and audiences alike, Manford was invited to join as a team captain in 2007, holding the position until he amicably parted ways in 2011. During his time as team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Jason Manford was joined by the likes of actor Danny Dyer, the legendary Joan Rivers, presenters Carol Voderman, Claudia Winkleman and Lauren Laverne, as well as huge names from across the world of comedy.

Manford's TV career included presenting BBC One's First & Last, ITV's What Would Your Kid Do? and hosting at the prestigious Olivier Awards. In 2020, he donned a hedgehog outfit to place second on ITV's The Masked Singer, finishing behind Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts – herself performing as a queen bee.

Described as "effortlessly entertaining" by the Evening Standard, Jason Manford has also celebrated West End credits, first performing as Adolfo Pirelli in the 2012 production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street at London's Adelphi Theatre. Manford's theatre career has seen him appear in The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys And Dolls, and as Frank Cioffi in Curtains in 2019. He also joined Absolute Radio in 2016, presenting on a Sunday morning.

Jason Manford is back with his brand-new live show, A Manford All Seasons. Jason’s been busy since his last smash-hit stand up show but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally acclaimed comedian hasn’t changed a bit. A Manford All Seasons is Jason’s latest comic offering set to hit the road, and it sure to be ‘expert observational comedy’ (The Guardian) mixed with ‘comic gold’ (Mail on Sunday).

😱 Shock Horror - Grove Theatre, Dunstable

Time: 19:30 - 21:30

😱 Shock Horror: A Ghost Story
A nightmare is about to break free…

▪️AGE: 12+
12+ contains some strong language, disturbing images and scenes of horror. This production contains haze, smoke, flashing lights, loud and high-pitched noises.

👀 ABOUT
Herbert grew up in the Metropol. The eerie old cinema was his playground and prison – a place where endless late-night horror films were his only window to the world.

Forbidden from leaving by his disturbed parents, Herbert hid in its shadows and gorged on its movies. But what lurked in the Metropol’s darkness? And how did he manage to escape?

Now Herbert’s back at the abandoned cinema, searching for answers to long-buried questions. But for him, and for you, the real horror has only just begun…

Inspired by classic theatre ghost stories and cinema’s greatest frights, Shock Horror is a chilling journey into a haunted past. Combining live performance and big-screen action, it’s full of shivers, shrieks and shocking revelations.

Because we love a good horror film, don’t we? Until we realise we’re all alone in the dark...

Casting lines and building connections: ‘For Men To Talk and Fish’ in 2025 In 2025, ‘For Men To Talk’ will continue their popular ‘For Men To Talk and Fish’ meetings at Manor Farm Lakes in Lower Caldecote. These sessions are more than just fishing—they’re a lifeline...

🎣 The Mental Health Benefits of Fishing
Fishing is more than just a hobby. It helps men step away from their busy lives and relax. The slow, steady process of fishing—casting a line, waiting, and focusing on the water—can be very calming. It helps lower stress and gives men time to clear their minds.
Spending time outdoors is also important for mental health. Being in nature can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and boost overall well-being. Fishing provides a chance to breathe fresh air, enjoy quiet moments, and feel a sense of achievement.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
