🌍 WGC World Food Festival returns to Welwyn Garden City for a full weekend of flavour, entertainment and family fun!
Organised by the Welwyn Garden City BID, this popular 2-day festival brings together award-winning food traders, world street food, live performances and plenty to keep all ages entertained.

Prepare for a mouth-watering journey around the world with cuisines from across the globe. From Iraq/Persia, Venezuela, Japan, Korea, Greece, Thailand, Jamaica, Mexico, Spain, Italy and beyond, there’s something for every craving. Expect everything from sizzling stir-fries and gourmet burgers to paella, pizza, crepes, churros, dumplings, waffles, sweet treats and plant-based soul food.
🍹 FOOD & DRINK TRADERS
Confirmed names include Amani Kitchen, Chicken George, Avila London, Churros Boyz, Craft & Cleaver, El Asado, So Solid Sando, La Pitta Catering, Momo Nepalese Street Food, Maya Street Food, Punjabi Shack, The Jerk Hub, The Noodle & Dumpling Bar, Mama Mexican, Papa Paella, Yom and many more. Plus Banquet Inn Bars will be serving cold beers, prosecco, gin, spirits and mixers.
🎶 WORLD MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT
The World Music Stage will be packed with music and dance performances hosted by DJ Castro Afro, bringing feel-good sounds from Brazilian boogie funk and Colombian cumbia to salsa, Arabic disco and West African Afrobeats. You can also enjoy live music, street entertainment, cooking demonstrations and competitions throughout the day.
👨👩👧👦 KIDS FUN ZONE
Families are well catered for with a Children’s Fun Zone outside The Howard Centre, featuring rides and attractions including a Ferris Wheel, trampolines, samba balloons, inflatable bumper cars, toxic wipe out and an inflatable slide.
So instead of staying in, head to Welwyn Garden City for a brilliant weekend of global flavours, community vibes and festival fun.
