Lula is a playful first experience of sensory theatre for babies and their grown-ups and is designed especially for ages 0-12 months. Older siblings will be unable to take part.

Follow baby Lula and her family inside a colourful dome full of light, sound, texture and song. Find glimmers of joy and see the wonder of your baby in this enchantingly immersive, interactive performance. Exploring connection, care and companionship through a blend of original live music and dance, you are invited to sit, lie down, listen, watch and delight in your unique child.

Based on the much-loved BBC comedy by Jimmy Perry and David Croft, this stage adaptation by Paul Carpenter and Ian Gower transports audiences back to the 1950s and Maplins Holiday Camp, with its familiar cast of colourful characters, holiday-camp chaos and plenty of laughs.

Join The Square Drama Circle for a particularly special production as the group celebrates its 50th anniversary, having performed in Dunstable since 1976.

The virtuoso playing of the musicians will bring to life the stirring, powerful, and deeply emotional compositions of Howard Shore, the three-time Academy Award winner, whose work shaped the very essence of Peter Jackson’s cinematic masterpiece.

There are rumours that various film composers, having heard The Lord of the Rings in our performance, strenuously began composing soundtracks for other films – hoping that someday we will also perform them! We decided that we would think about it.
