🦉 Held inside our function room at Herrings Green Farm & Birds of Prey Centre, the children will get to meet and handle some of our smaller animals including our:

🐰 Rabbits,
🐹 Guinea pigs,
🦨 Our skunk Penelope.
🐐 As well as meeting our cheeky goats,
🦉 Meet and handle some of our smaller owls and even have a go at flying one, a fun memorable experience for everyone.

You are then welcome to walk around the farm and visit the birds and see many different species of owls, hawks, eagles and falcons.

Our tea room will be open so you can stop off for a quick bite to eat or enjoy one of our delicious cakes.

2025 DATES FOR PARENT & TODDLER OWL & ANIMAL EXPERIENCES

🦉 January 21st – Owls: Children will have the opportunity to meet and handle some of our smaller owls and then be given the opportunity to fly one.

🐢 January 30th – Animals: Children will have the opportunity to meet some of our rabbits and guinea pigs and some of our reptiles including our tortoise and lizard.

🦨 February 7th – Animals: Children will have the opportunity to meet some of our cheeky goats and our beautiful skunk Penelope.

📖 This months speaker is Ted Martin. Ted was trained in the book printing industry in the 1950s working on legal and academic titles. When he was 20 there was a strike in the industry during which he spent six weeks working on national and daily newspapers which forms the subject of this interesting talk.
