This Summer Holiday we are hosting Parkland Play event across different parks in Milton Keynes  On Wednesday 7th August join us at Glebe Farm from 12pm – 3pm for:

An accessible play session including:

🔸️face painting,
🔸️crafts,
🔸️soft play equipment, and storytelling.
🔸️Have fun with our sports equipment,
🔸️lawn games,
🔸️sensory tent,
🔸️bubble machines,
🔸️Bug hunting and much more!

Meet our Community Rangers and learn about water safety and how to stay safe in our parks.

🤫 QUIET SESSION: 12PM - 1PM
The first hour of each session will be a quiet hour, designed for children who would prefer a calmer play environment.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES
This event is designed for children and families. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

🪲Minibeast Safaris at RSPB The Lodge Sandy


Time: 10:00 - 11:30

🐛Join us this summer on a minibeast safari, encouraging children to take a closer look at the fantastic array of insects and invertebrates found at The Lodge.  Children will be getting hands on, hunting for insects, finding out just what is hiding in the trees above them and under the logs below them and learning to identify what minibeasts they have discovered.  
The Lodge is home to a huge range of amazing minibeasts from colourful jewel-like Ruby Tailed wasps to super speedy Tiger Beetles to Wolf spiders that actually jump onto their prey, yikes!  Bring your children along to join in the hunt as our knowledgeable guides take you on a tour of the reserve and let your young ones explore the incredible range of minibeasts that The Lodge is home to.   

AGE SUITABLE
A perfect adventure for children aged 4-11 years. Children under the age of 4 years are free to attend but the activity may not be suitable for them. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Time: 09:30 - 15:30

🏞WELCOME TO JORDANS MILL, A FOOD HERITAGE ATTRACTION SITUATED ON THE BANKS OF THE RIVER IVEL IN BIGGLESWADE.

🏃‍♀️Get ready to unleash your inner athlete and join in the fun with our Summer Games Trail! 
Sprint, Balance, Limbo, Jump and Sail your way through the 10 mini challenges at each trail point, noting your score on the trail sheet as you go along. 

🏆Add up your scores at the end and head to the Mill Shop for your prize!

 
🔸️Dates: Saturday 20th July - Sunday 1st September (open 7 days a week throughout the holidays).
🔸️Times: Between 9:30am to 3:30pm
🔸️Cost: £4 per child, includes a prize!

FOOD & DRINK
There is a cafe open untill 4pm with a great varied menu 
overlooking the stunning views of the River Ivel.

🎨 Let's get crafty this summer holidays... Come and join us for a fun-filled free-style craft session at the Forest Centre! All paints and utensils are provided by us to create your own unique masterpiece.

A CHOICE OF TWO SESSIONS:
🔸️ Session 1: 11am-12pm
🔸️Session 2: 1pm-2pm

🔸️AGE: 3-9
The craft session is suitable for children ages 3-9. There is no right or wrong way to do it, the only limit is your imagination!

🎟 PRICE: £4 per ticket
The price of the ticket is per participating child, and proof of booking will be required on arrival. Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment, as spaces are limited and may fill up quickly. We look forward to seeing you at the Forest Centre to get creative! .

Please note that aprons are not provided, so make sure you wear something that you don’t mind getting messy.
