Hocus, Pocus, Boil and Bubble, join us for some spooky fun down on the farm this Halloween, it’s going to be spooktacular!
Step into the centre of Hocus Pocus; enjoy bird of prey flying displays, creepy critter encounters, tractor rides, have a go at flying an owl, pat a pet, meet and handle an owl and much more for the whole family to enjoy!

▪️10.30 – Meet and handle an owl
▪️11.00 – Pat a pet with the rabbits and guinea pigs
▪️11.30 – Flying display, see different species of birds in flight
▪️12.15 – Tractor rides (weather dependent)
▪️12.30 – Have a go at flying an owl
▪️13.30 – Creepy critter encounter
▪️14.30 – Flying display, see different species of birds in flight (this display is different to the 11.30 display)

How would the smell of the Cedar Oak look? Does the sculpture garden look different in the morning to the afternoon? Who knows. Grab a pencil and some paper from reception and find something around the site that inspires you and draw your very own unique interpretation.
We will be using everyone’s creations to form a giant masterpiece at the end of the week!

Our SENDsational mornings offer children with neurodiverse conditions, including autism and other sensory processing difficulties, the chance to take part in activities and enjoy our galleries with their families and siblings away from the hustle and bustle of the general public.
▪️AGE INFORMATION
This event is best for children aged five to 15 and siblings are welcome.
👍 What can you expect from the experience?
- ✨️ Visitors have access to a few activities including specimen handling, crafting and a gallery trail.
- ✨️ All activities are supported by experienced, autism-aware facilitators.
- ✨️ A sensory space will be available for those children needing a quieter and calmer space.
- ✨️ All of the galleries, outdoor spaces and the shop will be accessible throughout the event.
- ✨️ Each event has a different theme. In May it's rainforests, in August it's Oceans and the theme for November is Autumn.
🎟 FREE BUT MUST BE BOOKED
Walk-ups are not possible - you must have a ticket. Adult tickets are limited to three per group.

No experience or materials needed, we provide everything. (Yes, even a primed miniature figurine!). If you would like to bring your own miniatures, then you are welcome do so. We ask that you still purchase a ticket to reserve a space.
