🚘 CAR DISPLAY- WANT TO SHOW YOURS?
We have been invited to help by putting on a car display for Wixams Summer Party this Saturday 28th June. Anyone wishing to display their cars (FREE ENTRY) will need to MEET UP at SEASONS GARDEN CENTRE on Bedford Rd, Wixams, Bedford MK45 3HU, between 11.00am and 11.20am. We will then all convoy down to the Village Hall to a designated display area for us show cars, vans & bikes.
▪️Please note: Need to remain Static from 12.00pm till 6.00pm.

The event opens with welcome speeches from Mayor of Northampton Cllr Jane Birch and Deputy Lieutenant Mr Adrian Pryce followed by guest speakers Nick Wilson, David Parish and the Royal British Legion.

The stage will be hosted by NLive Radio featuring live sets from local performers alongside military charity and community stalls plus face painting, balloon modelling and an Armed Forces Day colouring station for the little ones.

Meet Disabled Adventurer and get your picture taken in ‘RockClimber!’
The record breaking all-terrain mobility chair ‘RockClimber’ built by Rock Engineering in Towcester, enabled local Army Veteran and Disability Content Creator Nick Wilson ‘Disabled Adventurer’, to be the first disabled person to achieve a solo ascent of Snowdon in a power mobility chair.
Nick will be saying a few words on stage at approximately 10.45am after welcome speeches from Mayor of Northampton, Cllr Jane Birch and Deputy Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, Mr Adrian Pryce.

Classics in the Walled Garden is a terrific opportunity for historic vehicle lovers to showcase their vintage & classic cars, motorbikes and commercial vehicles to the historic Walled Gardens, Luton Hoo Estate (near Harpenden). Gather with friends and meet with fellow enthusiasts on a summer’s evening, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Come along , savour a Pimms and a browse around and perhaps also take time to see the beautiful greenhouses adjacent to the gardens.

Each ticket purchased grants access for one vehicle to Classics in The Walled Garden on Wednesday 2 July 2025.
Once your ticket is purchased please save your confirmation email and have it to hand upon arrival to allow a speedy entrance.
Tickets will be on sale until 9am on Monday 23rd June 2024, after this date tickets will be available to purchase on the day at the gates.

🚂 Haynes Summerfield Miniature Railway 2025

Time: 10:30 - 15:30
TIMES
Trains depart Haynes End between 10:30 and 15:30 (approx.), we close at 16:00.
Steam engines will also be in action as often as we are able.
ℹ️ ABOUT
At Hammer Hill you will have the option of taking a ride on two more of our railways - The Springfield Line from platform 2 and The Winterfield Line from platform 3 - tickets for both are sold at Hammer Hill.
The picnic area at Hammer Hill will also be open for you to use, from where you will be able to watch the Garden Line in operation.
At Haynes End the Station Buffet will be open for refreshments and picnic tables are available for your use on the grass outside.
