The tavern's story weaves through time, with each cup of coffee poured representing a chapter in its rich history. From humble beginnings as a simple watering hole to becoming a beloved community hub, the Coffee Pot Tavern has stood the test of time, serving as a gathering place for friends, family, and strangers to come together over a steaming cup of java. 🔥 For generations, our ancestors have sat around fires and looked into the flames for meaning... Since the earliest days of humanity, a spiritual link has developed between fire's cleansing energies, meditative qualities, and raw power. Inseparably bound to our physical needs of safety, light, and warmth, working with fire is a tangible link to our earliest days and beliefs.

It is with great pleasure that we offer our informal evening of self-empowerment, reflection, and ancestral stories, working directly with the elemental energies of fire.

✨️WHO IS THIS FOR?
The evening is for people who wish to have a meditative and holistic opportunity to work directly with the element of fire and the teachings it can give.

✨️NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED
No previous meditation or Firewalking experience is necessary as guidance and support will be given throughout. If you are already experienced in working with the spirit of fire or Firewalking, this is an amazing opportunity to work within a group experiencing the ancestral teachings and spiritual nature of fire.

For those looking solely for a Firewalking experience please look at our events for our empowerment walks held every second month or contact us regarding our next charity Firewalk.

✨️WHAT TO EXPECT
The evening will start with discussions, support, and reflection, before the opportunity to work directly with the fire in preparation for a Firewalk, based on the practices of our ancestors.

We run genuine firewalks, you will be in no doubt when you stand by the coals, that they're in the region of 1200F (that's enough to melt aluminum). This is an amazing opportunity to step up and find out just how amazing you are.

Working holistically towards self-empowerment we aim to laugh, have fun, create lasting memories and experiences in a relaxed informal atmosphere.

Supporting you to step up, whilst allowing you space to grow, release and move forward into a more self empowered future.

✨️ END TIME
Due to the nature of the event and working with fire, end timings are relatively flexible. You must be over the age of 18 to attend this event. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

ABOUT THE SUN PUB IN HITCHIN
We’ve been invited back to host a ghost hunt at this amazing building, steeped in history and numerous accounts of spirit activity from both staff and guests!
Extract taken from Hertslive…….
“With not just one ghost said to be haunting this Hitchin hotel, the stories and sightings vary suggesting that there could be a number of spirits lurking.
If you think you can handle it, ask to stay in room 10. It is said that a women reportedly makes herself known in this room.

One man woke to the feeling of a woman laying across his face trying to suffocate him, he was so scared that he ran out of the hotel unable to stay the night and didn’t return until the next day.

HISTORY
In the 1800s, Lord Havisham committed suicide in the hotel due to his large gambling debts and is said to still haunt the building.

STAFF WHO HAVE WORKED THERE
There have been reports by staff members who claim to have witnessed a monk walk across to the bar and help himself to a drink.”

GHOSTLY GATHERINGS ENCOUNTERS
On my walk round a few years ago, I did encounter the lady in one of the rooms, laughing (possibly under the influence!). I saw a huge orb in one of the en suite bathrooms, shoot across the room and had a really strong feeling of someone with me when I entered the ballroom. In the bar, adjacent to the ballroom, I believe there to be a spirit of a young boy.

A small groups of us were able to take part in an investigation for halloween a few years ago and had some amazing activity, both in room 10 and the ballroom. The Ouija board was so active and we believe it to be the spirit of a gentleman who didn’t want his “lady” speaking to other men!

INVESTIGATION
We will be starting our investigations at around 9pm, once we have given you a run down of the equipment we’ll be using and put a protection prayer in place.

THE END OF THE NIGHT
